The Hughesville Borough Water Authority is committed to its fundamental objective of providing water service of the highest quality for drinking, industrial and general municipal uses at a reasonable cost to Hughesville and the surrounding Wolf Township community. We want you to understand the efforts we make to continually improve the water treatment process and protect our water resources. We are committed to ensuring the quality of your water. Our water sources are three groundwater wells drawing from alluvial deposit aquifers. We currently supply to over 1,200 customers.

The office hours for Bookkeeper, Kathryn Harper are:  Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 AM to 1 PM and can be reached at 570-584-6005 and by email at hughesvillewaterauthority@gmail.com

The water payments can be dropped off at the office anytime by using the drop box located at bottom of steps to water borough office.  This box faces directly across from recycling bins the municipal offices share parking lot with.

Water rates effective October 1, 2023 are $25.00 per EDU per quarter and $7.00 per 1000 gallons consumed. 

Bills are sent quarterly (January, April, July, October) by mail.  We can also email your bill---send your email request to hughesvillewaterauthority@gmail.com to get started.
